The Tanaka S&W M49 Bodyguard Model Gun is a uniquely patterned revolver. Probably its most striking feature is the shrouded hammer, as instead of having a traditional exposed hammer, this revolver has a snag-free shrouded hammer design model of the real steel pistol as it was designed to be pocket-carried.

Tanaka has truly crafted a gem that, at first glance, looks as if it is a metal gun. However, this detailed finish can easily deceive even the keen-eyed among us, as the revolver is made of high-quality ABS plastic. Do not be fooled, though plastic, nothing about this M49 can be considered “cheap” as it carries a fair amount of weight and when paired with an assortment of metal parts, it certainly feels as if it’s a metal gun.
