The Ares SR25, a faithful replica of the 2005 XM110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System (SASS) Contract winner, is designed to replace the aging M24 Sniper Weapon System. This semi-automatic rifle enhances the marksman role with impressive capabilities, reaching out to ranges of 800 meters. Developed by Eugene Stoner when he moved to the Knights Armament Company, the SR25 builds on the AR-10 design, integrating advancements from the M16A2 and ensuring parts compatibility. The models name cleverly combines the numbers of the AR-10 and AR-15.

The Ares SR25 DMR Carbine boasts design features akin to its real steel counterpart, including:

• Quad Free Floating Rail – for customizable accessory attachments like laser and light modules, grips, bipods, and rangefinders.
• Ambidextrous Fire Controls – for seamless operation by both left and right-handed users, for the bolt release, fire selector, and magazine release.
• A 395mm Long Outer Barrel – designed to accommodate an inner barrel of the same size for varying engagement distances, and features 14mm CCW threading for additional muzzle device attachments.
• An Adjustable Crane Stock – for comfortable cheek weld and five adjustable positions.
• Adjustable Rear and Integrated Front Iron Sights.
• QD Ready Endplate – a QD socket for quick sling attachment and detachment.

Internally, the ARES SR25 ensures a premium experience with a mosfet unit for precise and reliable shooting, battery protection, and a reinforced v2 gearbox. The Ares Electric Fire Control System allows for programmable fire modes using their programmer, complemented by durable steel gears. Performance-wise, the SR25 achieves a 1.5-inch grouping at 25 meters, making it a high quality rifle at a mid-tier price point.

Please note that this is a B-grade rifle. There is some slight battle-worn wear on the rifle and missing components.
