The new GDR416 is a faithful replication of the popular HK416D platform which is currently used by many special operations forces and law enforcement agencies around the world. Due to the intense training required as a special forces operative, the need for an efficient and cost-effective training platform was requested.

GBLS was established to address the needs of the South Korean military and law enforcement to produce a training rifle that accurately replicates the manual of arms and firing mechanism of the AR-15/416 platforms. Exported and used by many law enforcement agencies around the world, the GDR416 can be adapted to fit many training methods, from Airsoft use to military MILES laser training system, and even for dry fire use for indoor training or film work.

The GDR416 is built to the same specs as the real counterpart, using metal forging techniques, heat treatment, and high-grade 7075 aluminum alloy, the GDR416 is not your typical AEG Airsoft gun, but a MILSPEC training rifle that is both durable but easy to use, without the need to constantly clean the mess left behind by carbon build-up for real steel rifle cartridges.

The DAS (Dynamic Action System) is an electrically driven firearm action mechanism that features a one-of-a-kind realistic manual of arms like its real-steel counterparts. Originally designed for military and police training, the GBLS DAS platform has been created to fit a wide range of training implements which includes Airsoft (BBs), Laser Cartridge Modules (MILES System), VR, and dry fire configurations. The rifle is built to real firearm specifications with real forged milspec standard 7075 aluminum alloy for the body, while CNC machined steel is used for internal components like the bolt carrier group, trigger system, and internal gearbox mechanism. The DAS system also features self-shimming/auto-correcting gears with self-diagnostics for easy maintenance, the same manual of arms as an AR-type platform which allows the gun to discharge a round without a battery in single-round mode, and is extremely wear and weather resistant due to its protective coating on the magazine and gun itself. The GDR416 has a mock BCG (Bolt Carrier Group) which can be cocked just like a real AR-15 which enables the gun to shoot with the pistol locked back by a mechanical trigger. Lastly, the whole system itself is powered by a high-torque motor in conjunction with its durable AEG-type gears and MOSFET control system, but with the feel of a real AR-15 trigger weight and action.
