The Glock has been an integral part of the shooting community since its inception and adaptation by the Austrian military. The pistol was then quickly adopted by other agencies around the world and made huge splashes on both the big and small screens. In airsoft, the airsoft Glock 17 has been one of the most beloved pistols, probably only second to the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa series. And after much anticipation, the Umarex (Elite Force) GHK airsoft Glock 17 Gen 3 does not disappoint, with a brand new blowback system that produces much stronger recoil and greater durability thanks to fewer moving parts.

Designed to be the MOST realistic Airsoft Glock pistol ever made for collectors and training use, the GHK airsoft Glock 17 Gen 3 is a fully licensed pistol as it is licensed by Umarex (Elite Force) and features all the corresponding markings on both the frame and the slide. The slide of the pistol is full CNC steel construction which offers an exceptional level of realism and the added weight increases the recoil impulse. The frame is faithfully reconstructed in the same over-molding process as the real gun to match the real steel pistol and is textured accordingly to look very real, making this gas airsoft pistol one of the best guns for training and discerning collectors. Dimensions are a 1:1 match and this Airsoft pistol fits the real Glock 17 holsters, the front accessory lower rail also fits real flashlights and lasers. Field-stripping is also identical to the real Glock. The magazine release is identical as well. As an added feature, the front and rear sights are real steel spec and allow for the swapping of other compatible sets.

Internally, the Umarex (Elite Force) GHK airsoft Glock 17 Gen 3 uses a completely new system developed by GHK which insures the strongest recoil impulse for the most realistic shooting experience. The trigger’s weight is also extremely close to that of the real steel pistol as well (5lb, which is a hair lighter than the real trigger). This creates a much more realistic shooting experience and the trigger break is also very realistic, making this the best Airsoft pistol for training or force-on-force use. Because of this, most first-time shooters accustomed to regular Airsoft pistols may initially think the safety is on before realizing they have to pull a lot harder for the trigger to break. The magazine features a 20-round capacity and boasts a “real” style design as it hides the follower and spring. The magazine is extremely light being made from CNC aluminum and matches the heft of a real magazine. Finally, the hop-up is adjusted much like a rotary-style hop seen on other popular airsoft guns, but it is embedded below the outer barrel for a much more realistic look. This pistol is CO2 ready and will be compatible with GHK airsoft Glock spec CO2 magazines. (Conversion kits sold separately)

The Umarex (Elite Force) airsoft Glock 17 made by GHK is a brand new design so it is not compatible with any parts made for the Umarex (Elite Force) Glock series by VFC or Wingun The magazines are not compatible.
