Popular among competitive and recreational shooters, the CZ75 was one of the original “Wonder Nines” pistols for its staggered-column, all steel construct and hammer forged, along with its unique low-bore axis design, reducing felt recoil as the barrel aligns with the shooter’s arm and hand. Developed from the ground up, CZ presented a new job for their new engineers to develop a 9×19 Parabellum pistol, having the complete freedom to develop an innovative pistol design, later becoming a member of the “Wonder Nines”, a term coined and popularised by American firearms-related magazines that advocated police departments in the 80s and 90s to switch over to semi-automatic 9×19 Parabellum pistols that were able to fire first shot double-action triggers, larger ammunition capacity and faster reloading, all “wonderful” features offered by the Wonder Nines, in comparison to the revolvers that were still used by the American police departments. The CZ75 went through several altercations upon its release and development; domestically, it was classified as a secret patent that nobody could learn of its existence, whilst abroad, CZ was also unable to file for patent protection, causing other manufacturers to replicate and clone the design. The pistol was finally sold to the local market in 1985, gaining widespread popularity among sport shooters (with sports shooting being the third most popular sport in the Czech Republic), and saw later adaptation with the Czech armed forces in 1989.
This CZ75 from Marushin is a gas blowback powered pistol that replicates its real steel equivalent, with the unique feature of a fully functional shell ejection airsoft pistol, with detail trademarks and roll marks for the CZ75, and a genuinely immersive experience when handling the pistol, requiring you to load individual shells with 6mm BBs and loading the shells into the magazine. Built with Marushin high-quality impact-resistant ABS plastic, with parts of the internals reinforced with metal, the CZ75 is a fully functioning airsoft pistol that can be fielded for immersion sake, or a collector piece at home that’s fully functional. This heavy-weight version replicates the CZ75 for a weightier experience and sturdy design.
