The Tanaka S&W M19 is patterned after the famous S&W K Frame series, the real steel M19 could be seen on the hip of many law enforcement officers in the United States around the 60s all the way to the late 90s, and a variation of the M19 was also issued to the French GIGN. The Tanaka S&W M19 is made with high-quality ABS plastic and finished in such a way that is almost unrecognizable from a full metal version.
